Sweet Sounds in Harlem

The American Legion Hall, located at 240 West 132nd Street in Harlem was lit up last Wednesday as The Jason Marshall Trio fired up the room with traditional jazz standards and original compositions. The sweet sounding solos of his baritone saxophone took us into cosmic worlds of harmonic sound, as he held melodic conversations with Ondrej Pivec on Organ, John Leadbetter Tenor Saxophone and Russell Carter Jr on Drums.
The Legion has no cover charge, so feeding the tip jar for the musician was a pleasure-enjoying their inexpensive drinks and heavenly soul food makes The American Legion and The Jason Marshall Trio the place to be in on a Wednesday night in Harlem, USA.
